How Bridge to Justice Limited collects and uses your personal information, and the rights you have over it.
This privacy policy explains what personal information Bridge to Justice Limited(“Bridge to Justice”, “we”, “us”) will collect from you and how we will use it. We are committed to being transparent about our use of your personal information, and we encourage you to contact our Data Protection Officer with any questions. The address is in clause 6.2 below.
We are registered with the Isle of Man Information Commissioner.
1. Who controls your data?
Bridge to Justice Limited is the “data controller” as defined in the Data Protection Laws. This means that Bridge to Justice Limited obtains and processes your personal data.
2. What personal data will we obtain, and when?
This depends on the nature of the services being provided, but may include:
- your full name;
- your date of birth;
- your contact details (email address and telephone number).
You must provide the above information if you wish to engage us to provide services.
3. Why do we obtain your personal information?
We obtain and process your personal data in order to:
- review potential cases;
- provide a documented report;
- provide support in relation to your case.
4. What will we do with your personal data?
Disclosure to third parties
4.1 We will not disclose any personal information you provide to us to third parties unless: (i) we have your consent; (ii) it is required or permitted by law; (iii) your agreement with us permits such disclosure; or (iv) it is in our legitimate interests to do so, as explained in clause 4.2.
4.2 In accordance with this policy, our terms of business where such terms are in place, and data protection law, you understand and agree that we may disclose your personal information to the following third parties, for the following purposes:
- 4.2.1 to any member of our group of companies, meaning our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries;
- 4.2.2 third party organisations that provide applications, functionality, data processing or IT services to us (for example providers of information technology, cloud-based software as a service, identity management, website hosting and management, data analysis, data back-up, security and storage services);
- 4.2.3 third party organisations that otherwise assist us in providing goods, services or information;
- 4.2.4 to any law enforcement or revenue authorities, when requested by them to do so, and only to the extent necessary to deal adequately with the request made;
- 4.2.5 to any payment collection agency we may use to recover monies you owe to us.
4.3 We may use your email address or postal address to send you updates or news about Bridge to Justice or the services we provide. You can stop receiving these at any time by contacting the Data Protection Officer using the details in clause 6.2.
4.4 We do not sell or trade any of your personal information to third parties.
Promotions from third parties
4.5 If you tell us (either when you register as a client or at any later time) that you are happy to receive information or promotions from selected third parties about goods and services that may interest you, you consent to us sending your information to those third parties so they can provide you with those offers. You may opt out or change your preferences at any time by notifying the Data Protection Officer using the details in clause 6.2.
Transferring your personal data to other countries
4.6 In order to provide our services effectively, we may need to transfer data, including personal information, to companies outside the Isle of Man or outside the European Economic Area.
4.7 We will only make such a transfer if we are satisfied that the recipient offers an adequate level of protection for personal data.
4.8 You agree that we may transfer personal information we hold about you to any country in accordance with this policy.
5. How do we keep your personal data secure?
5.1 We take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure your data is treated securely and in accordance with this policy.
5.2 We have a framework of policies, procedures and training covering data protection, confidentiality and security, and we review the measures we have in place regularly.
5.3 When we share data with others, we put contractual arrangements and security mechanisms in place to protect it and to comply with our data protection, confidentiality and security standards.
6. Access to, and amending, your personal data
6.1 At any time you can make a written request to us for access to all the personal information we hold about you.

It is your responsibility to tell us when information you have given us is out of date or needs amending, and we confirm that we will update or delete your personal data accordingly.
6.3 We will respond to any request for access in accordance with applicable law.
6.4 We will respond to requests for information promptly, and in any event within the legally required time limits.
7. Changes to this privacy policy
We recognise that transparency is an ongoing responsibility, so we keep this policy under regular review and post any updates to our website.
